KSU to hold general executive council meet

SHILLONG: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) will hold the general executive council (GEC) on January 11 at the Community Hall, Jaiaw Shyiap-Lumpyllon at 12 noon to discuss issues pertaining to the Hynniewtrep community.
In a statement issued here, the general secretary of KSU, Donald V Thabah said the GEC will deliberate on the issues already taken up by the union as well as new issues.
The presidents and general secretaries of the union’s district units, area units, circles, units and members of the central executive council (CEC) will take part in the GEC.
The union has also appealed the presidents and secretaries of its various branches functioning within the Hynniewtrep land as well as in Assam (Dima Hasao District & Barak Valley), Mizoram (Vairangte), Delhi, Uttarakhand (Dehradun) and Karnataka (Bangalore and Mangalore) to attend the GEC meeting.
