SHILLONG: East Jaintia Hills (EJH) district police have seized 14.83 grams of heroin and arrested two persons in this connection.
East Jaintia Hills SP, Vivekanand Singh said that acting on a tip-off a joint team of ANTF East Jaintia Hills, ANTF West Jaintia Hills and Khliehriat Police Station on Monday intercepted one silver colour Maruti Alto Car (WB-02W-8025) and recovered 14.83 grams of heroin from two occupants of the vehicle
They have been identified as Md. Zakir Hussain Laskar (32) and Imranul Hoque Laskar
Both persons have been arrested and case has been registered and investigation is going on.
