Realme X50 5G smartphone with 120Hz display launched
Realme has finally launched its first 5G ready smart phone ‘X50 5G’ with a 120Hz refresh rate supporting display and the latest Snapdragon 765 processor, here.
As for pricing, the smartphone comes in three variants, the base model comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is priced at CNY 2,499. The second variant comes with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage, which is priced at CNY 2,699 and the highest variant has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,999, news portal GSMArena reported on Tuesday.
In terms of specifications, the device features a 6.57-inch full-HD+ (100×2400 pixels) LCD hole-punch display with 20:9 aspect ratio.
It is powered by the 2.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256 internal storage.
In terms of optics, the device features a quad camera setup vertically placed on the upper-left corner of the back panel.
The setup includes a 64MP main camera, a 12MP telephoto camera offering 20x hybrid zoom, an 8MP tertiary camera and a last 2MP macro camera.
Up front, the smartphone houses two selfie sensors, one 16MP camera and 8MP camera.
he phone packs a 4,300mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge support and run on the new Android 10-based software.

Apple iPhone 9 may come with single rear camera
Well-known tipster OnLeaks with iGeeksBlog has shared the first renders of the rumoured iPhone 9 which suggests that the upcoming iPhone will come with a single rear camera.
The iPhone 9 will supposedly feature a 4.7-inch display and dimensions of 138.5 x 67.4 x 7.8mm, virtually identical to the dimensions of the iPhone 8, news portal GSMArena reported on Tuesday.
It is expected to pack the A13 Bionic SoC which debuted on the iPhone 11 lineup alongside 3GB RAM. Another rumored addition is the new LCP antenna which will offer improved network connectivity.
The upcoming iPhone is also expected to use a 10-layer Substrate-like PCB (SLP) for its motherboard, the same technology used by the iPhone 11’s version.
This will benefit multiple iPhone suppliers, including Pending Holdings, Xinxing, and AT&S, even though the SLP will be a less expensive component than the one used in the iPhone 11 series of devices.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had also suggested that Apple is preparing to release a new iPad Pro, a new MacBook and an augmented reality (AR) headset by the first half of 2020. (IANS)
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite in India for Rs 40K-45K in Feb
Taking big on OnePlus, South Korean giant Samsung is all set to launch its next flagship Galaxy S10 Lite with Snapdragon 855 processor in India next month in the accessible price range of Rs 40,000-Rs 45,000.
According to industry sources, Galaxy S10 Lite will go on sale in the country in the first week of February.
Galaxy S10 Lite will be sold through online retail major Flipkart and launch deals are likely to bring prices closer to Rs 40,000, the sources told IANS on Wednesday.
Galaxy S10 Lite will give a renewed push to Samsung’s strategy in the premium segment (priced above Rs 30,000), where its flagship smartphones Galaxy S and Note series have traditionally done very well.
Galaxy S10 Lite will house 48MP main camera, 12MP ‘Ultra Wide’ and 5MP ‘Macro’ sensors alongside the new ‘Super Steady OIS (optical image stabilisation)’. The device will feature a 32MP Selfie camera.
The device will come with 6.7-inch, edge-to-edge Infinity-O display, large 4,500mAh battery with super-fast charging and Samsung’s ecosystem of apps and services, including Samsung Pay.
Samsung announced new Galaxy S10 Lite along with another flagship Galaxy Note10 Lite smartphones earlier this month.

Samsung Galaxy S20 series to feature 120Hz displays: Report
South Korean tech gaint Samsung is all set to launch its new next gen smartphone Galaxy S20 instead of the S11 on February 11 and a new report claims that the upcoming S20 lineup will feature displays with 120Hz refresh rate.
Rumours of the next Galaxy phone’s possibility of a 120Hz display first ignited following company’s announcement of its next-generation mobile chipsets – the Exynos 990, news portal GSMArena reported.
The chipset was announced with support for 108MP cameras and up to 120Hz displays.
Tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) recently shared a tweet saying that instead of opting for S11e, S11 and S11+ nomenclature, the company would opt for S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra naming for its flagship series.
This means that Galaxy S20 will succeed S10e and S20+ will succeed S10.
In terms of specifications, the upcoming smartphones will use an Exynos 990 in some markets and a Snapdragon 865 in the majority of markets.
The base variant, that is, Galaxy S20 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch screen, S20+ is expected to sport a 6.7-inch screen.
Meanwhile, the top variant Galaxy 20 Ultra is likely to come with a 6.9-inch screen.
In terms of optics, Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ are expected to have a quad-camera setup highlighted by a 108MP main sensor that delivers 12MP photos from a 9-in-1 binning method. (IANS)
