Police arrest third suspect for KSU member’s murder

Mawkyrwat: Mawkyrwat Police on Thursday arrested a third suspect in the murder case of KSU member Teiborlang Marwein of Nonglang village.
Additional SP R. Pde informed that police arrested Everlos K. Iawphniaw, 22, of Mawrap village in connection with the case and produced him before the court. The suspect was sent to five days in police custody.
“He is strongly suspected to be involved in the case. We will do a thorough interrogation and verify the details,” Pde said.
Meanwhile, a source informed that a girl from Tynnai village was in a relationship with both Marwein and Iawphniaw, which made the latter a prime suspect in the murder case.
Police had on Wednesday arrested Pynshailang Shylla of Photjaud War village and Osis Kharlyngdoh of Nonglang village in connection with the case.
