SHILLONG: The state government is still waiting for the date and time to have a discussion with Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the implementation of ILP.
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said on Wednesday that the state government has not received any intimation from the Centre regarding the discussion on ILP.
Earlier, the chief minister had talked to Shah on phone on the need to have a meeting in New Delhi to discuss ILP.
Pressure is mounting on the government to implement ILP and to ensure that the state is fully exempted from CAA.
