IIM condemns violence in varsities

SHILLONG: The students of IIM Shillong have condemned the recent stint of events that have not only tarnished one of the most prestigious institutes in the country but also stigmatised the contemporary higher education scenario.
The students asserted that violence and hooliganism cannot exist in educational institutions, which are the temples of learning.
“Our unswerving solidarity goes with JNU students in their fight against those who are trying to defeat all that this nation stands for,” the students said.
