SHILLONG: North Shillong MLA Adelbert Nongrum on Thursday lauded the Kerala government for its stand against Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), and has urged the state government to follow the example set by the former regarding CAA.
‘Kerala government’s move to pass an official resolution against CAA shows that it is serious’, Nongrum said. He is also of the view that the state government should make laws that will protect the indigenous people.
