EAC officials get presidential awards

SHILLONG: Air Marshal RD Mathur, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command (EAC), Shillong Headquarter, has been conferred with ‘Param Vishisht Seva Medal’ (PVSM) by the President on the occasion of Republic Day. Mathur was appointed Honorary Air ADC to the President on January 1.
Earlier, he had also been decorated with ‘Ati Vishisht Seva Medal’ (AVSM) in 2014 and ‘Vishisht Seva Medal’ (VSM) in 2003 by the president.
Further, the Air Vice Marshal, B Chandra Sekhar, Senior Officer in-charge of Administration of EAC, has been awarded the ‘Ati Vishisht Seva Medal’ (AVSM).
