Govt sanctions Rs 4.8 cr for JN complex project

SHILLONG: The state government has sanctioned around Rs 5 crore for the second phase of the improvement and beautification of JN Complex junction in Polo.
The government sanctioned Rs 4.98 crores for the project recently, adding the proposal was submitted by MLA AL Hek.
The work for the beautification project is going on in the area and the project has been delayed owing to some land issues pertaining to the project. As per the plan, the beautification project would have rotary, high mast lights and other utilities. The work for the project has started and the project is being implemented at a cost of Rs 9 crores.
