Bangladeshi intruder apprehended
On Thursday evening, residents of Amjalong village under Muktapur police outpost, WJH, apprehended one Bangladeshi national viz., Md. Samsul Ali (35), who entered into Indian territory illegally. The intruder was later handed over to Dawki PS.

Coal-laden truck seized
On Monday around 11.30 pm, one truck (AS-01FC-9892) evaded the police check point at Lad Umsaw, Ri Bhoi and fled away. Later, the truck was detected at Umbang and on checking, it was found that the truck was loaded with coal, in violation of NGT order.

Theft
Raymond Japang lodged a complaint that on Thursday around 3.25 pm, one Dipesh Thapa was caught red-handed while he was stealing seven plates of eggs valued around Rs. 1,200 from the former’s vehicle (ML-05G-3484), parked at Anjalee parking lot, Iewduh.
Terak K Sangma lodged a complaint that on January 16 night, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-07B-2894) from his residence at Nangaburi village, NGH.
Subhash Ch Paul of Thana Road lodged a complaint that on January 23, one unknown miscreant broke into his godown and stole goods valued around Rs. 23,000. However, after identification of the miscreant from a CCTV footage, he was apprehended on Thursday.

Motorcycle-lifting bid
Julius K Sangma lodged a complaint that on January 16 around 3.30 pm, unidentified miscreants attempted to steal his new motorcycle (A/F) and another motorcycle (ML-08F-3111) belonging to Jimingbirth Ch Sangma, which were parked at Nangaburi village, NGH. However, on seeing the complainant, the miscreants fled away, leaving behind one mobile phone and a jacket.
