Electoral rolls for Langrin bypoll ready

Mawkyrwat: Electoral rolls have been prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 129 (1) for the upcoming Langrin by-election.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Electoral Registration Officer, Langrin, District Council Constituency said copies are available for inspection in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat; the Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (C), Ranikor Civil Sub-Division, Ranikor and office of the Block Development Officer, Ranikor. The qualifying date for preparation of the electoral roll was January 1, 2020.
If with reference to the above said qualifying date, there be any claim for the inclusion of a name in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of a name or any objection to particulars in any entry, it should be lodged on or before February 12, the statement said.
Any such claims or objections should either be presented to the Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat; the Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (C), Ranikor Civil Sub-Division, Ranikor and in the office of the Block Development Officer, Ranikor.
