SHILLONG: Former MLA, Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit has informed that he will convene a public meeting on February 6 at Students’ Field, Jaiaw and invited Hynniewtrep people from all walks of life attend the public meeting aiming to start a public movement against the Center.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that the public meeting was not organisation-oriented but a people’s movement. “There is a need for people to come out and start”, he said.
“We cannot allow the Center to do whatever it wishes . We are not to be suppressed in any way” Basaiawmoit said.
