Theft
On February 7, Phaiarlin Lyngdoh (43) and others lodged a complaint that on January 9, miscreants stole three numbers of water pump from a well at Riathawlong village, Mawkyrwat South West Khasi Hills.
Anujha Syiemlieh lodged a complaint that on February 4 around 11.20 am, while she was waiting for taxi at Police Bazar miscreant stole her mobile phone.
Tongel Suchiang lodged a complaint that on the night of February 3, miscreants stole DG battery valued around Rs 12,000 from 8th Mile, West Jaintia Hills.

Miscreants steal licensed gun
Jangsan Marak lodged a complaint that on February 4 around 8.30 pm, armed masked miscreants broke into his residence at Gimbil Adenggre village, West Garo Hills and looted one licensed SMBL gun from the house.

Joshua Ch Marak lodged a complaint that on Jan 22, one unknown person claiming himself to be from M/s Pay Application company, duped him by fraudulently withdrawing an amount of Rs 44,622 from his account.
