Contraband recovered

SHILLONG: Acting on a tip-off, police detained one Khir Bahadur Tamang for possessing banned contraband after a search was conducted in presence of a Gazetted Officer on Monday around 8.20 pm. Four plastic soap cases containing suspected heroin weighing around 43.34 grams were recovered from his possession.
