MBoSE all set to hold SSLC,HSSLC examinations

SHILLONG: Altogether 51, 334 and 30,697 candidates will appear for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations respectively.

The practical examination for the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) started from February 19 and concluded on February 27. The theory examination will begin from March 2 and it will end on March 25.

The examination for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) will start on March 4 and end on March 16.

Informing this here on Friday, Joint Director M. Marbaniang said that MBoSE was well prepared to hold   HSSLC  examination in 103 centers of and  SSLC examination in 143 centers across the state.

The MBoSE has warned schools affiliated to it to maintain the 50 per cent pass percentage and to de-affiliate the schools if the pass percentage is below 50 per cent for three years continuously.
