GUWAHATI: Assam Police has opened two help lines in view of the threat posed by novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
“People of Assam, settled in different parts of the country or abroad, who have older relatives/parents living without any support in Assam, can contact Assam Police through social media at Twitter handle: @assampolice and Facebook: Assam Police or through email: [email protected] or WhatsApp number :+919132699735,” a statement issued here said on Saturday.
“Any kind of information can be shared with Assam Police at emergency helpline: +919435215029 or at email: [email protected],” it said.
Assam police also appealed to the people of the state to ensure ‘Janta Curfew’ from 7 am to 9 pm on Sunday, and also not to disturb emergency and essential services during the period.
