NONGSTOIN: In view of the directives of the central and state governments to shut down places of worship to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the Nongpyndeng Presbyterian Church has found a new way to reach out to its congregation through social media.
Dubbed as the Cyber church, services are being held on Facebook live where one can listen to sermons at home.
On Sunday, Nongpyndeng Presbyterian Church held its Sunday service through this method where Rev. TT Diengdoh conducted his sermon and preached the word of God to its congregation who viewed it at the safety of their own homes.
”We will have to use ways and means in order to reach out to those who believe in God. We can worship Him from any place in the world,” said a member of the church.
