Pledge to stay indoors

SHILLONG: MLA PT Sawkmie has urged Mawlai residents to take a pledge to stay home and not venture out in view of the coronavirus pandemic. He has also said that the residents should not panic as the government is doing its best to provide the essential commodities to the general public. Sawkmie said that people have a responsibility by protecting themselves and the community as a whole. The MLA has called upon the people to pray fervently for the country, the state, doctors and nurses.
