NONGSTOIN: After receiving inputs, Nongstoin Police, along with the Narcotic and special cell as well as staff of Nongstoin PS, raided a rented house occupied by suspects Philosopher Thabah and Sofia Swer at Ladweitang locality of Nongstoin.
During the raid, 25.50 grams of heroin was recovered from the house in presence of local witnesses.
Proceed of the sale of heroin, amounting to Rs 84,000, was also seized. A case is being registered against the duo and the investigation against the matter is on.
