JOWAI: Two persons were found hanging in separate incidents at Kyndongtuber village and Thadmuthlong village in West Jaintia Hills.
One Erastos Siangshai (40) of Kyndong Tuber hanged himself in his room on Saturday, while in Thadmuthlong village, one Lianti Lyngdoh (24) was found hanging from a pine tree with a plastic rope at Pasyih Tangliang Phramer.
Both the deceased were handed to their respective family members after all formalities were observed and on the request of the kin, the bodies were exempted from autopsy.
