NONGPOH/Khliehriat/MAW-KYRWAT: Curfew has been promulgated in three districts including Ri Bhoi, East Jaintia Hills and South West Khasi Hills.
The Ri Bhoi district magistrate issued an order under Section 144 stating promulgating curfew in the district from 6 am on Monday till 6 am on Friday. The order also prevented gathering of more than 5 persons in public areas.
However, the order will not affect the arrangement of fair price shops and identified local retailers within the village.
