SHILLONG: Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Speaker, Metbah Lyngdoh, said that the compliance of the people to the rules is a weapon to fight against coronavirus (COVID-19).
He added that the COVID-19 will likely spread in the state if people do not follow the health advisory issued by the government.
The Mairang MLA also donated 23 quintals of food grains for poor families who have no money to buy food. He said that the traditional heads should sincerely distribute the food materials.
