Sailo will be remembered for his work: Nongpoh MLA

Nongpoh: The local legislator of Nongpoh Constituency, Mayralborn Syiem on Thursday conveyed his condolence message to the bereaved family of Dr. John Sailo Ryntathiang who passed away on Wednesday.
Speaking to The Shillong Times, the MLA said that he was deeply saddened to know about the sudden demise of the doctor. “ Dr. Sailo has served the state by dedicating his life and profession in serving the people and his capability and efficiency as a medical practitioner is commendable and will be remembered forever “ said Syiem.
He added that by profession, Sailo has contributed so much in the medical field in the state by founding Bethany Hospital in Shillong. Through his vision he was able to established a branch of the hospital in Nongpoh which is a great blessing to the area in serving the patients in general, the MLA said.
He further said that his demise is not only a lost to his family and loved ones but to the state as a whole. “Personally I have lost a father figure who has served the state”, he said. Syiem offers his prayer and wishes that the Almighty God will grant him eternal life in heaven and the good things that he has done for the betterment of the people in the state will always be remembered.
