SHILLONG: Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma on Monday informed that 714 samples out of the 838 samples collected in the state had tested negative for COVID-19 while results in case of 113 samples were being awaited.
The CM said that the state so far had 10 active COVID-19 positive cases. “All the 10 active cases are stable and under quarantined”, he said.
Regarding distribution of financial assistance under the Chief Minister’s Special Grant for individuals stranded across the country, the CM said the government had selected the workers’ group first among categories of students, professionals and others.
“An amount of Rest 3000 per head, has been given to 1617such people from the state stranded in different parts of the country”, he added.
