CRPF distributes ration, hygiene kits among BPL families

SHILLONG: The 67 Bn CRPF distributed ration and hygiene kits to the underprivileged in the city on Friday.
Under its civic action programme, the CRPF distributed 800 kits of ration (comprising 4 kg of rice and 1 kg pulse) and 800 hygiene kits (comprising two soaps, one sanitiser, a detergent powder packet, Vitamin B & C strips and five facemasks) to the BPL families in Pynthorumkhrah Golf Link, Lawjynriew, Lawmali Pyllun, Jaiaw Laitdom, Nongkwar and Umthlong. The battalion also donated 2 spraying machines, two Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits and 20 litres of Sodium Hypochlorite solution to each locality.
The relief and hygiene materials was home delivered to the beneficiaries to prevent gathering. Sunit Varshney, Commandant 67 Bn, Dr. Utpal Gogoi, SMO, S Seema Devi, Abhishek Yadav, Taithul Thanminglein, Anisha and others were present at during the distribution.
