Curfew extended till May 4 in WGH

TURA: The district administration of West Garo Hills, on Wednesday, extended curfew in the entire district from 6 AM of Thursday till 6 AM of May 4 in continuation with the earlier order, a report informed.
The prohibitions and exemptions issued earlier will remain, while grocery stores, vegetables, fruits, milk and meat outlets, shops selling animal feed and agriculture items, machinery spare parts and repairs shops as identified by Tura Municipal Board in various localities will remain open from 8 AM to 1 PM every day except Sunday.
Further, legal brick kiln in rural areas have been allowed to open. The district administration has warned legal action against those violating lockdown.
