3 more test positive in Assam, tally up to 62

GUWAHATI: Three persons including an ambulance driver who had driven the two persons from Mumbai, tested positive for COVID-19 in Jorhat in upper Assam. The driver has been sent back to Mumbai while the two persons were admitted in Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) since their arrival in Jorhat.

It has been informed by Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.

With these detection, the number of COVID-19 positive patients in Assam has increased to 62 COVID-19 patients in Assam 62 including 27 active cases and 34 discharged from hospital after recovery.
