Meghalaya Speaker convenes meeting to discuss COVID-19 situation

SHILLONG: Speaker of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly , Metbah Lyngdoh on Thursday convened a meeting of  leaders of the ruling coalition and leader of the Opposition party to discuss various issues arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic. The leader of Opposition, Dr Mukul Sangma  stressed on the need to re-strategize the standard operating procedure (SOP) in dealing with COVID-19 situation.
