Leaders laud Manipur MLAs

SHILLONG: Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong and the president of Naga Students’ Union, Shillong, TP Dining, acknowledged their gratitude to Manipur MLAs — Awangbou Newmai and Samuel Jendai — besides Deputy Commissioner of Tamenglong district Armstrong Pame for bringing back 105 stranded Meghalaya students from Manipur. Transportation and food were arranged by the MLAs and the deputy commissioner.
Tynsong and Dining said the gesture from the leaders from Tamenglong district has revealed the bonhomie between Manipur and Meghalaya.
