Cyber crime case against Assam news channel

SHILLONG: A case has been filed at the Cyber Crime Police Station under relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act and Indian Penal Code against the Assam-based Pratidin News Channel for broadcasting a news bulletin stating that ‘a minister from Meghalaya has contracted coronavirus (COVID-19) and the name is kept secret.’
