BSF Eastern Command ADG visits city headquarters

SHILLONG: Additional Director General of Eastern Command BSF, Pankaj Kumar Singh visited the city Frontier headquarters on Monday.
The purpose of the visit was to take stock of the readiness amid COVID-19 and also the operational preparedness along the International Border.
An official of the BSF said that he recently joined as the ADG of the Eastern Command and during his visit, Singh was also briefed about border domination and he was familiarised with the area.
The ADG also interacted with Medical team and staff and inspected the measure taken against the coronavirus pandemic. He also inspected the quarantine centre of the BSF. Singh lauded the efforts made by the BSF Meghalaya on the fight against the pandemic and operational domination along the border.
