Leopard cub rescued

SHILLONG: A female leopard cub around three months old was rescued on Sunday from Puriang Village, East Khasi Hills.
It was found by Mewanshanbor War Synterihen on Saturday and the matter was informed to the Sordar who in-turn sought the help of the BDO and the Wildlife department.
The Protection Range Team led by Rjied Bang, forest guard rescued the animal and it is presently in departmental care.
