The DC (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has informed that rice under PMGKAY scheme for June quota and pulses for May have been released through their respective Fair Price Shops. AAY and PHH quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 5 kgs per head respectively free of cost, while pulses will be distributed at the scale of 1 kg per card respectively free of cost.

Crematorium
Shillong Electric Crematorium shall remain shut  from May 26 to 29 on account of major repairing work of the furnace/blower with replacement of some parts brought from Pune, Maharastra by the Urban Affairs Department, Meghalaya  along with technicians.
