COVID-19: 3 more Containment Zones declared in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Kamrup Metropolitan District Administration has declared Containment Zones in three more areas of Guwahati city – Bishnupur Krishna Nagar, Pub-Sarania and Dhiren Para –in view of detection of COVID-19 positive cases.

The Containment Zone at Bishnupur Krishna Nagar is bounded by Arya Vidyapeeth College to the north, Jute Mill to the south, government ITI to the east and Bishnupur Road to the west.

The Containment Zone at Pub Sarania is bounded by Bhabananda Deka Road to north, South Sarania Road to south, Pramathesh Baruah Road to east and residence of Chittaranjan Dutta and others to west.

The Containment Zone at Dhiren Para is bounded by residences of Nabajit Barman and Bishnuram Boro to north, residence of Kamakhya Prasad Gupta to south, residence of Md Abu Ali to east and residence of A K Deb Road to west.

On the other hand, the district administration lifted Containment Zone restrictions from Dinesh Ojha Path, Bihari Patty at Bhootnath and Bishnupur Fatasil Ambari in view of no further detection of COVID-19 positive cases in those areas.
