Punit Chikara lodged a complaint that on June 9 between 10 am and 2.15 pm, miscreants broke into his house at Nongrim Hills and stole one laptop and Rs 20,000 cash.
Kimland K Lyngiong lodged a complaint that on June 7, miscreants broke into Seven Sisters Secondary School at Mawmitbah (South West Khasi Hills) and stole cash Rs 20,000, cash book and others.

Online fraud
S Nongdhar lodged a complaint that on March 18, following an advertisement in OLX.com for sale of a Maruti Alto-800 (ML-05K-7887), he contacted the owner, Manjeet Singh of Guwahati, Assam (as per ID shown) and was asked to deposit Rs 7,000, which was deposited to the PayTM account in the name of Rupendra Kumar. Further, the complainant deposited money on several occasions amounting to Rs 75,000. Later, the complainant realised that he was cheated, as the vehicle was not delivered.
Syndarmai Pariat lodged a complaint that on May 17, following an advertisement in OLX for sale of one motorcycle (ML-05R-5700), he contacted the mobile number provided in the advertisement, where a person (who claimed to be an Army personnel posted in Manipur) asked him to transfer Rs 1,50,950. However, the motorcycle has not been delivered till date.
Piarltrep Bawait Majaw lodged a complaint that on June 8 around 8 am, she received a phone call from an unknown person, using a display picture (DP) of the principal of her school (Army Public School), wherein the caller requested her to purchase Amazon Gift Cards for him. The complainant believing that it was the principal agreed and gave her ATM card details to the caller. Following this, two transactions amounting to Rs 40,000 was withdrawn from her savings account. In this regard, the principal of the school identified as Rajeevan P filed an FIR stating that some person used his photo as WhatsApp profile picture, impersonating him and duped his colleague.
Wiseford K Sangma lodged a complaint that on June 7, he received a phone call from a person pretending to be from Flipkart company, offering cash back of Rs 4,950. Later, Rs 42,372 was debited from his savings account.
Walchi A Sangma lodged a complaint that on June 8 around 2.30 pm, she received a phone call from one Bahadur Singh. The caller said she won a lottery of Rs 12 lakh and that she needed to deposit Rs 23,100 to his SBI account in order to claim the prize. She complied with the caller but later realized that she has been cheated.

NGT violation
On June 8, one Bolero pick-up (ML-10C-1781) driven by Lakhon Iakai, fled from the police check point at Lad Umsaw (Ri Bhoi). However, the vehicle which was loaded with coal was later intercepted.
Chirup Pamthied, Asst Mines Royalty Inspector, Umkiang DMR check gate, East Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint that on June 8, a staff at detected one truck (NL-01AD-8894) transporting coal in violation of the NGT order.

Man assaults sister
A woman lodged a complaint that on June 2 around 6.30 pm, her brother, Janush N Sangma under the influence of liquor, went to his parent’s house at Rangmal Badim village (East Garo Hills), created nuisance and assaulted her with a knife. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Tura.
