Siewdorlang Diamai has been awarded PhD in Chemistry by the North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, for her thesis ‘Studies on Colorimetric Sensing of Metal Ions and Organic Molecules Using Gold and Silver Nanoparticles’, which she completed under the supervision of Dr. DPS Negi. She is an assistant professor at St. Anthony’s College, Shillong. She is the daughter of Newtilda Diamai and Seibor Dewkhaid.

Richards Lyngdoh Lyngkhoi has been awarded PhD by North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, for his thesis ‘Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Usage in Changing Lives of Tribal Women of Hilly Areas in Meghalaya’, which he completed under the supervision of Prof. BP Sahu from the Department of Adult & Continuing Education, NEHU. He is the son of Dhalinda Lyngdoh Lyngkhoi and Wainstar Diengdoh, residents of Mawiong Lumsyntiew, Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills.
