Soso Tham statue facelift

SHILLONG: The Brahmaputra Board, through its Regional Office for Meghalaya at Shillong, completed the renovation of the statue of U Soso Tham at State Central Library, Shillong. The work, which was initiated in March 2020, was part of the Swachhta Action Plan of the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
Meanwhile, W Nongseij, Director, Arts & Culture, presented a token of appreciation to P Manroi Scott, Vice Chairman, Brahmaputra Board, while re-dedicating the renovated statue.
