Situation under control after group clash in GH

SHILLONG: The situation, after a clash between two groups in Nayagaon in West Garo Hills over issues related to MGNREGS on Saturday, is under control, police said on Sunday.
It was informed that the clash started after the SDO Dadenggre left the village following a meeting over issues of the VEC.
Two people were injured in the clash.
Police officials informed that both the parties have filed FIRs. ‘The situation is under close watch’, the police added.
