RTI filed on utilization of Rs 115 cr for Covid-19

TURA: Congress leader and former MCS Officer, S R Marak has sought information under RTI, complete details of the utilization of an amount of Rs 115 crore by the Department of Health and Family Welfare in the state in its fight against Covid-19, as revealed during the recent assembly session.

In his RTI filed with the PIO of the department on July 1, Marak sought separate details on the total amount received as Grant in Aid from the government of India, donations received from individuals, companies, NGOs etc as well as on the amount mobilized from the state’s own resources.

Marak also sought detailed information for what purposes the fund was used by breaking up amounts separately from the total amount of Rs 115 crores as well as its district wise utilization.
