Forum demands medical board for treatment of Akhil Gogoi

GUWAHATI: Coordination Committee of Anti-CAA Forum has demanded constitution of a medical board to facilitate better and transparent treatment of imprisoned KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi and his colleagues Dharjya Konwar and Bitu Sonowal who have been stated to be found COVID-19 positive.

It a statement signed by the Forum’s President Hiren Gohain and Chief Coordinator, Deben Tamuli, the Forum raised question about ‘actual COVID-19” status f KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi who was first stated to be COVID-19positive but later turned COVID-19 negative after his swab sample was tested in New Delhi.
