Penalty for protocol violation

TURA: The state government has directed all district magistrates, executive magistrates and officers of the rank of sub-inspector and above of the state police as designated officers to impose penalty on any person or organisation found violating protocols issued by government. This was informed by West Garo Hills District Magistrate.
Meanwhile, the Executive Engineer, PWD (Roads), Tura North Division, has informed that that due to heavy rain on Friday, the road formation at 9 km of PA Sangma Road has been badly damaged, due to which only light vehicles will be allowed to ply.
