6 more die of COVID-19 in Assam on Tuesday, toll mounts to 46

GUWAHATI: Six more persons died of COVID-19 in Assam on Tuesday taking the death toll in the state up to 46 so far.

“We lost Ms Sneha Mall (36), Sri Litu Kumar Bora (37), Sri Sarat Ch Saharia (60), Sri Upendra Nath (62), Sri Pramod Ranjan Saha (73) & Sri Subhakaran Dudheria (73) today. They succumbed to #COVID19 as per Death Audit Board report,” tweeted the Health Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Meanwhile, 859 new COVID-9 positive patients were detected in the state on Tuesday including 627 patients in Guwahati alone.

On the other hand, 757 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state on Tuesday.
