City schools secure place in SSLC merit list

SHILLONG: Two schools from city on Monday produced rankholders in the SSLC Examination 2020 among which one school even managed to bag highest marks in three subjects at the state-level.
The statements from the schools on Monday highlighted the performance of their students.
Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School not only gave a student who secured 14th position in the merit list but it also gave three more students who scored highest marks in Mathematics, Nepali (MIL) and Computer Science at the state-level.
Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School, on the other hand, produced a topper who secured the 16th position, while the school also witnessed a 100 per cent pass percentage.
From Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School, Subash Poudel secured 14th position in the SSLC merit list while Shrawan Sharma, Sagar Newpane and Vijay Adhikari scored highest marks in Mathematics (99), Nepali (MIL) (93) and Computer Science (98) at the state-level respectively.
From Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Gyanesh Roy Bhowmick secured the 16th position in SSLC merit list.
The statement from Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School also congratulated its students and staff for its hard work.
