SHILLONG: The Khasi Students’ Union – Central Executive Council has asked higher secondary schools and colleges to give preference to residential students of the state rather than those from outside.
In a letter, the Education Cell of the union has also mentioned about reservation of seats for students hailing from the outskirts.
The union has urge the schools and colleges to have an alternative offline mode of admission and to reserve seats for students from the state’s outskirts.
