‘Flood hits transport in Ranikor’

SHILLONG: The United Achik Youth Federation (UAYF), South West Khasi Hills, said that the people living under Ranikor Civil Sub-Division have been facing problems of transportation due to floods while alleging that the district administration has not taken action to address the matter.
The UAYF said that the people in South West Khasi Hills have also been facing problems with regard to healthcare, irregular power supply besides road connectivity.
Despite informing the district administration earlier, the organisation said that no measures have been taken till date to address the people’s plight.
