SHILLONG: The Seng Samla Shella has written to the Director of Health Services (MI), to register a complaint against the absence of doctors, non-availability of ambulance in case of emergency, lack of facilities, shortage of drugs in Shella PHC.
The leaders of the Seng Samla Shella said that they had received several complaints about the above-mentioned issues, which is a major problem faced by the locals during emergency.
The leaders of the Seng Samla Shella also bewailed that as there are many in the rural area who cannot afford to go to private hospitals, the government hospital becomes their last resort.
