Floral tribute
Followers of Tagore will pay floral tributes to the legendary poet and writer, Rabindranath Tagore, to commemorate his 79th death anniversary, at Brookside, Rilbong on Friday. All health protocols will be followed and only 15 individuals will be present.
Unclaimed body
The Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Civil Hospital, Shillong, has informed that a 45-year-old male patient, who passed away on July 30, is kept at the Civil Hospital Morgue for claiming, failing which, the body will be disposed by the Shillong Municipal Board. Phlatson Sun, 45 years, resident of Mawngap, was admitted in the Male Surgical Ward, Bed No. 22 of Civil Hospital.
