Meghalaya COVID19: Active cases 594, recovery 423, deaths 6

GUWAHATI:  Seventeen more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Meghalaya on Saturday taking the state’s tally to 1,023. Of the 17 persons who tested positive, 12 are in East Khasi Hills district, three in West Garo Hills district and two in North Garo Hills district

Meanwhile, 12 persons recovered from COVID-19 in the state during the last 24- hours, taking the total number of recovered people to 423.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the state now is 594. Already six persons in the state have died of the virus infection, according to the State Director of Health Services, Dr Aman War
