Inquiry into West Khasi Hills electrocution

Shillong: The Commissioner of Division for Khasi, Jaintia Hills & Ri Bhoi Districts, MR Synrem, will conduct an inquiry into an incident where a teenager from Nongstoin died of electrocution as reported in The Shillong Times on July 7, 2020.
The hearing for the inquiry has been fixed on August 19 at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Nongstoin from 10 am to 5 pm.
Those who wish to depose before the inquiry team or want to submit evidences, would be allowed to do so on the date of inquiry.
