Meghalaya to involve MLAs to manage COVID19 pandemic

GUWAHATI: Meghalaya government is mulling to draw up a strategy for long-term management of COVID19 by involving a large number of stakeholders including legislators, community bodies and citizens.

In this regard a meeting will be held with the MLAs from East Khasi Hills district which has been worst hit by the COVID-19 pandemic among all the eleven districts in Meghalaya.

“We are strategizing long-term management of #COVID__19 in #Meghalaya by actively involving legislators, community bodies and citizens. A meeting will be conducted with MLAs of #EastKhasiHills District to take this plan forward,” tweeted the Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma
